The sales managers in a sales organisation are the key to sales
success. In our experience they are also critical to the success
of any Performance Improvement initiative.
It's their ability to provide the leadership to their teams to
connect their sales activities to the company's strategy and plans
that are the essential basis for successful Performance Improvement.
They also need to be able to reinforce and coach the skills that
are thought to be required as essential for the success of the salespeople.
Many Sales Managers have received training in management; some
have not. At Next Curve Learning we believe that they should be
able to provide leadership and also be able to manage effectively
as well.
